Dashiell Gantner , Sacha Richardson and Grace Huang (nurse) are visiting Longgang Hospital, Shenzhen, China as part of the Alfred Trauma/ICU collaboration to assist them in the development of their Critical Care Services.  LCH is being expanded to a 2,000 bed hospital from a 800 bed hospital.  The Longgang Municipal Government, Department of Health intends to establish LCH as a Premier Teaching Hospital in order to provide better health services for the residents. Included in the planned LCH redevelopment is the building of a new Emergency & Trauma Centre and a consolidated Intensive Care Unit.
