From 10–12 June, Critical Care Reviews (CCR) Belfast—hosted by CCR co-founder @Rob MacSweeney—brings together leading clinicians, researchers and educators from around the world to hear the latest results from some of the most important ICU trials in progress.

A strong team from @The Alfred Intensive Care Academic Centre will be on the ground, engaging with four major Australian-led studies shaping the future of critical care:

Day 1: Professor Carol Hodgson and Professor Paul Young presented the LOGICAL trial:  An Australian‑led trial comparing conservative vs liberal oxygen targets in patients following cardiac arrest.

Day 2: Professor Sandra Peake & Associate Professor Stephen Mac Donald presented the ARISE Fluids Trial: The largest Australasian clinical trial comparing early vasopressors to intravenous fluids in the initial resuscitation of septic shock.

Day 3: Will bring  trial presentations:

  • REMAP-CAP – adaptive platform trial in severe community-acquired pneumonia
