Jasmin is a Senior Research Nurse in the Alfred ICU Clinical Trial Research team. She first joined The Alfred as an ICU Nurse in 2005, where she completed a Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (ICU). In 2009, she moved across to the Clinical Trial Research team as a Research Nurse.
Jasmin completed her Masters in Public Health in 2015. She is particularly interested in traumatic brain injury, physiotherapy, and nutrition research.
She loves the challenge of a difficult governance application. She enjoys wordsmithing, one-liners, and baking.

A/Prof Aidan Burrell is a Senior Intensivist at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, and an Associate Professor at the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC‑RC), Monash University.
Originally trained in vascular surgery, he transitioned to intensive care and has completed fellowships in cardiac transplantation (2012) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in Germany (2015). He completed his PhD in ECMO in 2019. His research focuses on acute respiratory failure, sepsis, extracorporeal life support, and cardiac arrest. He is the Australian Principal Investigator for REMAP‑CAP, the PANTHER trial, the REDEEM trial, and leads SPRINT SARI, Australia’s national severe acute respiratory failure registry. He is strong believer in medical education, as the more he learns, the more he realises he doesn't know.

Emma is a Research Co-ordinator in the Alfred ICU Clinical Trial Research team. She has been at The Alfred since 2016 when she completed her BSc in Pharmaceutical Science at RMIT University. She recently completed her Master's degree in Public Health at Monash University.
Emma is very passionate about providing the very best care to patients through high-quality research and being able to facilitate patients and their families' participation in research.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time outdoors, going on hikes and spending time with her dog, Doug.

Andrew is Head of Research at The Alfred ICU, and Deputy Director, Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre - Monash University. His research interests include traumatic brain injury, sepsis, and ECMO.
Andrew is passionate about supporting trainees/early-career clinician-scientists, and increasing diversity in clinical research. He is a proud product of Aotearoa New Zealand.
